Punishment definitions:

1. Warning - A personal warning from an administrator or moderator.
2. Muting - Unable to talk on the board; can still view it (30 days).
3. Banning - Permanent muting.
   
   * violations are escalated after your first like-punishment.

Banning Violations:

1. No Hacking - Hacking the board for any reason is strictly prohibited. Guessing someone else's password and succeeding counts as hacking. Members who hack will be permanently banned without warning.
2. No Discrimination - You may not insult members based on their religion, race, sex, political beliefs, etc. TCUSA is a shelter, and discrimination will NOT be tolerated!
3. No Flaming - Flaming (posting deliberately harmful messages) is harmful to the atmosphere of the TCUSA boards. It not only causes threads to go off topic, but more importantly, it hurts the person being flamed. If you become the victim of a "flame", report the post immediately.

Muting Violations:

1. Cheating the Censor System - Profanity and obscene content does not belong on this message board. A censor system is in place as a backup. If you see words in your post being replaced with *, you have done something wrong. Please edit your post and tone it down immediately. To edit a post, click the "edit" button right below it.
2. No Illegal Activity - You are not allowed to break the law using the boards. This can get TCUSA into legal trouble. Posting links to roms is illegal; this counts, for instance, as a violation of this rule.

4. No Posting Personal Info - Please refrain from posting your last name, address, phone number, etc to the boards. This information then becomes accessible world-wide.
